Councilwoman Gloria Martín has warned that half of the new six-month period has been consumed and those affected who can benefit from this rule still do not receive notifications.

The councilor of the United Left-Greens, Gloria Martín, has demanded a new call of the Joint Commission of the earthquakes of 2011 once the equator of the new deadline available to those affected to justify the aid granted to them to repair their homes , and it will end on January 25, 2020.
Martín recalled that on July 25, the Regional Assembly unanimously approved a new Law that extended the deadline for presenting justified reports by six months.
"It had to be done that way because the regional government had breached its obligation, established in article 2 of Law 8/2018, to require the grantors of the grant to present the justification account," he explained.
In fact, last August, a few affected received the requirement to be able to justify the subsidy based on Law 8/2018 that should have reached them a year earlier.
The law entered into force in July 2018, the letters are signed electronically on November 19 of that year, but the neighbors were not sent until August 6, 2019, with almost nine months late since signing.
This demonstrates, in Martin's view, the "absolute lack of control" of the regional administration that continues to impede the application of the Law.
As the CARM did not send the requirements or sent them at the wrong time, many people did not know that they could qualify for this rule and the deadline had to be extended.
The problem, Martín explained, is that now it is not being done so that "in January we will have the same problem," he warned.
The Councilor of the United Left also recalled that article two of the new Law establishes that the simplified procedure will also apply to the files "whose amount of the aid in any case is of such amount that, in isolation or in concurrence with other aid or compensation, exceed the actual cost of the works ".
In order for those affected by this case to qualify for this route, it is necessary that a competent technician issues a certificate and that it be ratified by the competent body of the Autonomous Community.
However, "half of the term has elapsed and those affected have not received a sad notification and in Fomento nobody knows when they will start contacting them."
For this reason, Martín has announced that from the Municipal Group of IU-Verdes a massive sending of applications will be organized in which the Autonomous Government will be required to apply the Law "." As those who should not do their job, we will return to do it from the United Left, "he said.
Martín also demanded that the files that the administrations themselves recognize are prescribed be immediately archived.
"Those affected have been waiting for months for notifications that put an end to this ordeal and that drops are being sent."
In fact, of the 600 people who are part of the platform, only two have received this letter.
Other problems that affect those affected are the delay of the CARM to return the money to those affected who unduly paid because they can avail themselves of the simplified justification.

For all these reasons, Martín informed that on September 5, he requested in writing to the Mayor of Lorca, Diego José Mateos (PSOE), to carry out the necessary steps for the call of the Mixed Commission that manages these grants.
