The secretary general of the PSRM explains that in the Region of Murcia there are three areas in which, for justice, it is necessary to act on them: the area affected by the floods in Lorca, the Vega del Segura, where you have to work in its development and a comprehensive plan;
and Los Alcázares, which needs a joint action with Torre Pacheco
The general secretary of the PSRM-PSOE and spokesman of the Socialist Parliamentary Group, Diego Conesa, has highlighted his total and absolute commitment and that of the Government of Spain to give a "root" solution to those affected by the floods that occurred in Lorca ago seven years.
"Here I started the first act as secretary general of the PSRM and this was one of the first sites I visited as a government delegate. It is a matter of justice after such a long time," said Diego Conesa, who has attended the rally '7 years of waiting ', organized by the residents of the Lorca districts of Campillo and Torrecilla, affected by the San Wenceslao flood in 2012.
He explained that during the last months the processing of the adjudication of the preliminary projects to the company is being developed in an accelerated way to be able to undertake it.
"It is an important work of prevention in which you have to act from the root of the problem, with that rolling dam. But they are slow procedures. I put myself in the place of the affected neighbors and I understand the anguish they may feel not to obtain a solution".
Diego Conesa has affirmed that in the Region of Murcia there are three areas in which, for justice, it is necessary to act on them: the area affected by the floods in Lorca, the Vega del Segura, in which it is necessary to work on its development and a comprehensive plan;
and Los Alcázares, which needs a joint action with Torre Pacheco.
"In those three lines it is in which we are going to work to give a solution, telling the truth, and demanding the commitment of all administrations," he concluded.
