The Councilor of Finance of the City of Lorca, Isidro Abellán, announced this morning the delay, in a month, of the payment of the second receipt of the urban IBI.
A decision that responds to the possibility that a new socialist government, at the national level, approves the 50 percent bonus of the Property and Real Estate Tax.
Abellán has informed "of the delay, in a month, of both the direct debit payment and the voluntary term so that on that date we can know if it will be possible to form a new government at the national level that can resolve a mess created by the opposition parties, caused by rejecting the project of the General State Budgets ".
The Mayor of the Treasury explained that "if there has been a party that has demonstrated its total and absolute commitment to Lorca in terms of the 50 percent bonus of the Property Tax, of the IBI, it has been the Socialist Party that included it in its proposal of General State Budgets together with other items such as the 3 million euros planned to finance works and services for infrastructure repair, equipment and services in districts, as well as about 400,000 euros for the restoration of the paintings of the Convent of the Virgin of the Huertas and the Church of San Juan ".
Abellán Chicano denounced that "the budgets were knocked down by the rest of the opposition parties, deputies from the Region of Murcia who voted against and, which they have shown, so they do not fight for the interests of either their land or their neighbors and neighbors and nothing was done by the municipal groups of this City Council so that their parliamentary groups supported the General Budgets. "
The Councilor has revealed that "the Socialist Municipal Group has been doing its job since before, even, to form a government in the City of Lorca and until today. In fact, it has achieved full commitment to the highest levels, at ministerial levels, that at the time the Government of the Nation was formed, in the first Council of Ministers the Royal Decree Law would be approved including the 50 percent bonus of the urban IBI for Lorca and until the last moment, until that there is not the slightest possibility of getting the bonus we will not stop working. "
"If we have had to delay the second payment of 50 percent of the IBI, it is because the previous Government Team set October 1 as the date of release of the second receipt and as the date for the charge in the accounts, via direct debit, of said I receive on October 18 and we have waited until the last moment to do so, it has not been for electoral reasons as the group that is to blame for this situation we are facing, "said Abellán.
Isidro Abellán explained that "being the elections on November 10, according to the Law, the Congress must be formed three weeks later, that is, during the first half of the month of December.
