The Councilor for Housing, José Luis Ruiz Guillén, has demanded that the Popular Municipal Group "respect the affected families", "stop playing with their illusions" and "end the politicization of such a delicate issue like this."
The Councilor for Housing of the City of Lorca, José Luis Ruiz Guillén, has assured that those affected by the earthquake will have preference when applying for housing in the San Fernando neighborhood.
Ruiz Guillén explained that "complying with the regulations established for the homes resulting from the rehabilitation, regeneration or renovation actions, located in the San Fernando neighborhood, the homes will be used for public or social promotion, preferably for those affected by the earthquake."
The Edil wanted to "inform Mr. Gil Jódar that the adjudication of the dwellings has to be done through a public and regulated procedure, established in the existing legislation in the matter and complying with the requirements and the scales established for its adjudication, about requirements that will be studied and valued by the Government Team of the City of Lorca and that will take into account the condition of 'victims of the earthquakes' to carry out the allocation of housing, in addition to complying with the guidelines established in the Law of Housing of the Region of Murcia as it is a public subsidy whose destiny must be justified. "
Regarding the proposal of transfer of several of the properties to oenegés lorquinas, José Luis Ruiz Guillén detailed that "the requested homes are pending registration and subsequent administrative qualification, a necessary requirement for their occupation, and whose procedure will be to resolve precisely in an organ that depends on the General Directorate of Housing of the Autonomous Community, so we encourage the Popular Party to urge its regional partners to expedite the procedures to carry out the transfer once the time has come ".
The Councilor, has also made reference to the requirement of the implementation of a Municipal Plan for Young Housing "that they have had a lot of time to start and which they now remember" and explained that "the 'New San Fernando' is a result of a state public subsidy aimed at the reconstruction and rehabilitation of the area after the damages caused by the earthquakes so that the procedure for access to municipally owned housing must be carried out based on the legally established requirements that must take into account the age as well as a set of personal, social and economic circumstances of those who request them. "
José Luis Ruiz Guillén has also wanted to refer to this issue and has announced that "this Government Team, within the systems or procedures provided for in the public housing legislation, will study all possible mechanisms that may facilitate access to municipally owned housing , included in the Public Housing Promotion programs, to the families that request it ".
In addition, he has demanded that the Municipal Popular Group "respect the affected families", "stop playing with their illusions" and "end the politicization of such a delicate issue as this."
