Fulgencio Gil demands that Pedro Sánchez stop turning his back on those affected by the earthquakes and react, since he has received multiple requirements for a year to extend the period of reconstruction and justification of aid, but remains unanswered
The Speaker of the Popular Party in the City of Lorca, Fulgencio Gil, has demanded that the current Government of Pedro Sánchez extend the reconstruction deadlines for homes affected by earthquakes that have not yet completed their rebuilding, as well as those established for those who have received public aid and those that regulate its justification.
Fulgencio Gil has explained that in recent months this issue has already been officially claimed up to 3 times officially to the socialist government, even from the Mixed Commission itself, but no response has been obtained.
Once again we find the "pasotism" of the PSOE with earthquake issues.
The same is happening as with the 50% IBI bonus to those affected by the earthquakes, the 3 million agreement that they owe us for investments in districts and the remission of state interests to public aid recipients.
It is an absolute marginalization, and a lack of interest that we Lorca do not deserve.
It is already well of contempt.
From the PP we demand that the deadline be extended, since we all know that during the reconstruction process there have been conflicting situations that prevented, for example, joining the will of all the owners of affected buildings for reconstruction.
We have suffered the lack of an effective aid system for catastrophes of this kind, since the Law on Subsidies has been a serious problem.
These events have caused delays and inconveniences that have always had to suffer the victims, and that even today prevent dozens of families from Lorca to complete the rebuilding of their homes.
Fulgencio Gil has stated that there are multiple cases not taken into account in the cases for the granting of reconstruction extensions.
This is the case of delays in the perception of aid for reconstruction, as well as the economic and financial problems of those affected.
According to municipal reports, this situation is so extreme that if an extension is not obtained, these neighbors would be left without homes and should also return the money.
The neighbors themselves have become true promoters of the reconstruction of their homes, a situation that raises doubts and has caused decisions to become entrenched, preventing an agile reconstruction of their homes.
The bureaucratic tangle in which many Lorca families have been immersed today includes problems arising from delays in the granting of aid, claims, conflicts with the Insurance Compensation Consortium for the approval of compensation, "paperwork" problems With inheritances, deeds of title, mortgages, urban problems, economic situations limit of the owners…
