For several weeks dozens of people have passed through the Sports House to participate in the Senna Trophy that is included in the Guadalentín Sports Games for 29 years.
In this edition, a record has been broken with 36 participants, and this board game is rooted in our city of Lorca, so year after year we fight not to lose the tradition, and it is being achieved.
This traditional game passes from generation to generation, and this trophy has been able to see young people in their twenties as well as people who have passed 90 years.
This is the case of Ginés Ortín, a nonagenarian man who from the Games Committee has decided to reward in recognition of his trajectory of participation in the breasts, and the longest-lived person to do so.
Since the middle of September the tournament has been played, in which the players have divided into groups competing for the league system.
The end of these days of play, competition and coexistence came yesterday afternoon October 10, with the semifinals, third and fourth place and the grand final, which won Fernado Cuadrado Sola.
Second place went to Guillermo Plata Ortín, being bronze for Yolanda Jiménez Jiménez, and fourth place for Pedro Tudela Sánchez.
