The Councilor for Education, Antonia Pérez, says that "the cost of our school should not be borne solely by the City of Lorca as we receive children from virtually the entire Community."
The Councilor for Education of the City of Lorca, Antonia Pérez, thanked the proposal made this morning by the Popular Party regarding a battery of improvements to be made in the facilities of the College of Special Education "Pilar Soubrier".
Pérez revealed that "the requested drafting of a comprehensive modernization plan of the 'Pilar Soubrier' College was also necessary four months ago and they have had twelve years not only to do it but also to urge the former Minister of Community Education Autonomous, the lorquina Adela Martínez-Cachá, or the current one, María de la Esperanza Moreno regional party partners and where precisely most of the competencies for decision-making and execution of work reside ".
The Edil has been surprised to receive "a proposal for this educational center when they have had 12 long years to urge their Murcia counterparts to carry out the much needed improvements of a center attended by children with special needs not only from Lorca if not from locations throughout the Region. "
Pérez Segura has remarked that "the cost of our school should not be borne solely by the City Council of Lorca since we receive children from practically the entire Community, so it would be convenient if its management were directly assumed by the Regional Government".
The Councilor for Education has also explained that she has recently held a meeting with Juana Mulero, General Director of Educational Planning and Human Resources of the Autonomous Community, as well as one of those responsible for works to expose the situation and needs of 'Pilar Soubrier 'but of all schools in Lorca ".
