The mayor of Lorca, Diego Jose Mateos, has criticized, today, "the claim to protest what they show now since the Popular Party and have not had in the last 12 years."

The mayor has insisted that “the best solution is being sought: including improvements, rewarding as little as possible the economic lows within the margins allowed by the law and getting a project that is complete, and that does not generate doubts even at companies or the Consistory and that when it comes out do it well ”.

Mateos has assured that “the Plaza de Toros contract will be put out to tender in the next few weeks, after the approval of the specifications, we will not take eight years to remodel it, but that in 4 months the administrative procedures for its remodeling will be initiated” .

Finally, Mateos recalled the intention that “the bullring becomes a multipurpose space, not only for bullfighting, but for events that can be held throughout the year and that the investment is profitable”.
