From the SPPLB Trade Union Section in the City of Lorca, with respect to the restructuring that from the Local Police Headquarters and the Department of Citizen Security are being carried out, we expose the following:

1. To express our absolute respect for the autonomy of the Department of Citizen Security and the Local Police Headquarters to order and structure the staff of Local Police according to the availability of Human Resources and needs of the municipality of Lorca, in its extensive municipal term , without prejudice of the due hearing to the unions.

2. We believe that with the integration of a Uprol Unit in the Citizen Security Unit, incidents, neighborhoods and districts (UDIP), an adequate response to the new situation is given, given the loss suffered as a result of 12 years without increasing the staff, the retirement of 10 colleagues and the departure by mobility of many others throughout that time.

3. We understand the restructuring necessary because the previous one is obsolete, given the paradox that week if and week no, two units of Uprol (15 officials doing the same service) coincided in turn and schedule, while at the center, to attend traffic, citizen security, and other notices we had one or two couples.

Something that was completely ineffective.

4. The new situation allows strengthening and strengthening the functions of the Local Police and which are included in Law 2/1986 of March 13, maintaining, as it may not be otherwise, collaboration with other State Security Bodies , without interfering with their own functions.

5. We recognize the selfless work that the Uprol 1 comrades have been providing within their unit, as well as the rest of the Police of all the Units of the Local Police of Lorca, with the assurance that they will continue developing their functions with total dedication and professionalism

That is why we positively value the measures taken from Headquarters, which undoubtedly would result in the safety and well-being of all Lorca and Lorca.
