The students of the 'Laboro' and 'Empleo Joven Lorca' projects have received their professional distinctions after completing their theoretical and practical training.
The mayor of Lorca, Diego José Mateos, has attended this morning the delivery of diplomas of two recently completed projects, such as the Joint Employment and Training Program called 'Laboro', funded by the Regional Employment and Training Service (SEF ) and co-financed by the City of Lorca, in an event that has taken place in the auditorium of the Local Development Center (CDL).
Mateos has detailed that "32 unemployed people, under 30, have participated in a project has consisted of theoretical-practical training, through which student-workers will formalize a contract in training, for which they charge 75 percent minimum interprofessional salary which, including extraordinary payments, amounts to 787.50 euros per month ".
"The program, which began on December 17, 2018 and ended on September 16, has given the certificates of professionalism of 'Decorative painting under construction', in which 10 students have participated; 'Auxiliary operations in nurseries, gardens and Garden centers', which have benefited 12 students and the 'Basic operations of plumbing and heating-domestic air conditioning' that have made 10 students, "said the mayor.
Mateos Molina recalled that "both the training phase and the alternating training phase, the student-workers of the Mixed Employment-Training Program 'LABORO' will carry out a series of interventions that will consist of a series of works and works consistent with the development of the training plan of the resulting Professional Certificates, and which will have, on the one hand, the development of skills related to the specialty that is foreseen in the project and on the other, serve as a global axis of the different knowledge that is intended are acquired by student-workers ".
