The Deputy Spokesman of the Popular Party in the City of Lorca, Ángel Meca, has demanded that the City Council include the necessary economic items in the 2020 budget to undertake the execution of public lighting needed by the residents of the central roads, Felí, Puente Alto and Vereda de los Seguras, located in Cazalla.
Ángel Meca has indicated that the district of Cazalla is one of the most populated and has the greatest economic and social diversity.
Due to its large population, as well as its great economic activity, it is conceived as a nucleus of a lively, dynamic population and, therefore, demanding services and public investments that continue to improve the quality of life of the residents of this beautiful corner of the city. orchard lorquina.
It is worth highlighting the work carried out by its associative fabric, which over the past few years has carried out its activity in a discreet and humble manner, achieving great achievements and advances for its district and its neighbors, achievements always aimed at improvement and well-being of its people.
The popular councilor has said that there are many achievements in recent years in Cazalla, including investments by various administrations, from the central to the regional, not forgetting the great effort of the City Council over the last decade.
Among the achievements made in Cazalla we must highlight some in a unique way, such as the case of the modernization of irrigation, construction of the Greenway, execution of the new Medical Center and the medicine cabinet, implementation of the playground, improvement and remodeling of the old road of Águilas, with the incorporation of a green road, improvement of the D-10 road, improvement and expansion of the roads of Monzón, Vereda Alta, Los Seguras road, Puente Alto, Central road, Cañarejo, among others.
Regarding public lighting, there have been many actions carried out in the village, all of them have always been claims of neighborhood associations, which has been attended to the extent possible of the City Council.
Cazalla for its dynamism continues to require more investments and daily improvements, necessary to continue improving the quality of life of its neighbors, as expressed by its groups in the various meetings and writings addressed to the City Council.
These are some of the main investments that we propose to undertake, leaving many others to be addressed and agreed with the residents and groups of Cazalla.
More than 40 days after heavy rains the roads have not been repaired.
Ángel Meca has also advanced that after the rains in mid-September, several roads and municipal roads were affected by the rains, either by breakage or by dragging land on roads and shoulders.
After more than 40 days of the episode of the DANA, there are numerous neighbors who contact our group to transfer the discomfort for not responding to requests for repair or cleaning of some of these routes, by the City Council.
Such is the case of several roads in Ramonete, which have not been cleaned since the rains of August, roads in Purias, Campillo, Torrecilla, Almendricos, among others that have remained the same since mid-September and, in some cases with risk for road traffic , for lack of signaling or marking of breaks.
From the Popular Party we believe that the current government team has had enough time to address all these incidents, so we request that the current local government immediately proceed to repair and clean the municipal roads affected by heavy rains last September
