The Councilor for Culture of the City of Lorca, María Ángeles Mazuecos, presented, this morning, together with the Councilor for Tourism of the Consistory, Francisco Morales, and the president of the San Clemente Federation, Luis Torres del Alcázar, a new initiative launched for this group with the "main objective of continuing to promote the festivities of the patron of Lorca and do it now with the help of social networks."
The Councilor for Culture has detailed that in particular three videos have been edited with which some of the most important events that these parties have will continue to be announced: one of the videos is focused on the parade of the different groups of Moors , Christians and Jews, in the medieval market and in the procession of the patron;
another about the history of the city;
and, finally, the third on the capture of the Castle.
Mazuecos has stressed that "these videos, of just over a minute, will be disseminated through the social networks of the federation itself with the aim that they can be shared and reach the maximum number of people possible, taking into account that social networks are a very important channel of dissemination, it reaches many people, from all over the world, and even, we are going to help everyone to become viral. "
From the Department of Tourism "it aims to promote what already exists in Lorca, making known the rich heritage of our municipality that houses Tres Culturas, Christian, Muslim and Jewish and how well the San Clemente Federation will lead."
For the Councilor for Tourism, Francisco Morales, "it is very important to support all kinds of initiatives that aim to promote the cultural heritage of Lorca, and in particular after the inclusion in the Jewish Quarter of the Jewish heritage of Lorca."
