The spokesmen of the Municipal Groups of the Popular Party, United Left and Vox in the City of Lorca, Fulgencio Gil, Pedro Sosa and Carmen Menduiña, have publicly denounced the call and realization by PSOE and C's of a political act supplanting the Identity of the Organizing Committee of the Guadalentín Sports Games and using the springs and resources of the Municipal Consistory itself.
PSOE and C´s camouflaged as an alleged “act of thanksâ€, which really was a propaganda “auto bomb†event, held in full electoral campaign for the elections of November 10.
This fact constitutes an example of bad forms, and an attempt to make the municipal symbols and resources profitable for the benefit of certain political acronyms.
We are talking about a torticerous attempt to influence public opinion that is especially unfortunate to have used precisely the Guadalentín Sports Games, an event that has always been respected by all political parties, until we have encountered this.
Given this situation, PP, IU and Vox demand a public rectification by the current mayor, Diego J. Mateos, since it has led to the dirtying of the good name of the Guadalentín Sports Games.
In the same way, we demand that measures be taken to avoid that, from now on, we have to attend this kind of hopefulness, an example of institutional disloyalty and disrespect.
