The mayor of Lorca and the Minister of Community Development have supervised this morning the status of some works that will guarantee the safety of residents of Campo López, Morata, Aguaderas and Ramonete.
The mayor of Lorca, Diego José Mateos, together with the Councilor for Development, Isabel Casalduero, and the Minister of Development and Infrastructure of the Autonomous Community, José Ramón Díez de Revenga, have supervised the construction of the bridge over the Rambla de Biznaga .
The mayor has revealed that "this bridge, which is 110 meters long, 10 meters wide and has a two-lane roadway, is an infrastructure that was very necessary, this bridge was a historic claim of all those neighbors from Campo López, Morata, Aguaderas and Ramonete who, during the rainy season, could not carry out their movements on the Rambla de Biznaga with security ".
Mateos has informed that "from the City of Lorca we thank the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia that has taken into account this need since it should be noted that most human losses in times of floods occur precisely because of the crossing of orders on the channels that when they drag water cause misfortunes before the excess of confidence of many drivers ".
Diego José Mateos has detailed that "it is an infrastructure that will serve all the districts of southern Lorca that when heavy rains occur they are isolated from the rest of the municipality" and stressed that "the completion of the termination of the extension of the road to Campo López y Morata ".
