This morning the Councilor for Sports, Irene Jódar has presented together with the president of the Physical Education and Sports Forum of Lorca, Juan Ortuño the CREASPORT contest.
As explained by the mayor of Sports with this contest we try to "offer a communication channel between the worlds of art and physical activity, so close by its plastic and expressive character" Jódar Pérez has added that "physical activity and sport has always been a source of inspiration for cinema, literature and photography. "
Irene Jódar recalled that this Friday, November 8, at 7:00 p.m., the Cajamurcia culture classroom in Lorca will know the jury's decision of the awards in the modalities of: Photography, Literary Short Stories and Short films ". And congratulates the entire organization "for their hard work that has achieved a record of participation and prestige for Lorca."
Irene Jódar has referred to this event "as international, and of great importance because with only three editions, the number of works received, a total of 429, has been exceeded. In addition, the works are carried out by people from such diverse countries such as Spain, Uruguay, Ecuador, United States, France, Brazil, Mexico, Venezuela, Argentina, Chile, Mexico, Colombia, Bolivia, Peru, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Belgium, Israel.
For his part, the president of the Physical Education and Sports Forum, Juan Ortuño has said that the CREASPORT contest "will open a window to artistic expression gathering the beauty of sports activities, their stories, their moments of glory or failure, and its educational wealth. "
Similarly, Ortuño Casas transfers the satisfaction of the organization, the Physical Education and Sports Forum for "the great reception that the contest has had, since it has crossed borders, and enriches the world of sport enormously and that is that they have received 229 photographs, 161 stories, and 39 short films, a record. "
Also, in the act of next Friday the finalist short films will be seen, the winning story will be read, and the finalist photos can be enjoyed.
After this, the prizes will be failed and they will be valued based on the jury's arguments.
The prize money will be 1,000 euros and the competition trophy for each winner of the different modalities: Photography, Literary Short Stories and Short Films.
And there will also be a special prize in the category of Short Films.
It will be for the local winner, 200 euros and diploma.
And another one in which the attendees can vote for an award, will be the Best Short Film Selected by the Public, which will be done during the duration of the event, with an economic endowment also of 200 euros.
