Mateos explained that "the concern of the City of Lorca has been expressed regarding the expiration of the justification, reconstruction and rental deadlines and we have agreed to continue working, promoting and taking all the necessary actions so that the measures are adopted regulations necessary to extend these deadlines and grant a new term that allows the files to be closed without having to proceed with the returns ".
The First Edil has stressed that "it is going to work directly, as has been done so far, with the Ministry and, also, the question of studying the remission of interests relating to the return of aid has been raised so that it is done all together and have a package of measures relating to the termination of justifications and reconstruction files. "
Mateos Molina has advanced that "in the coming weeks we will have a working meeting in Madrid and we will speak directly with the Ministry to find among all the best solution, a solution that also involves the involvement of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia since they are also partners in the management and financing of these grants. "
And it is that the mayor of Lorca has assured that "the question of the termination of the deadline for the justification of the aid granted after the earthquakes is a matter that worries us a lot and the date of conclusion of the deadline is approaching so we will be demanding and pending that they give the relevant solutions no matter what happens next Sunday because we will continue to demand the Government of Spain, govern who governs, that the pending issues are resolved and, among them, the extension of the deadlines, the study of remission of interests and the justification of the aids since 50 percent of them are state-owned.
