The Councilor for Commerce, Francisco Morales, reported this morning that the Spartary Federation organizes the V Route of the top "Pedanías Altas de Lorca" that was born with the aim of energizing the districts and places of the municipality of Lorca.
It is an activity that is carried out for the fifth consecutive year and will take place during the Saturdays and Sundays of the month of November, specifically from November 9 to December 1.
It involves a total of 7 stores located in the Avilés, Coy, La Paca, Doña Inés and La Parroquia councils that will offer their gastronomic proposal with drink (wine, beer or soda) for € 2.50.
From the Spartary Federation they inform that all interested persons will be able to complete a 'route' that will be sealed in the different establishments with which prizes will be entered as for hotel nights, spa, etc.
Francisco Morales stressed that "the month of November is a perfect time to expand the knowledge of our highlands, enjoying its cuisine, its landscapes and its people, and this V Route of the Top of the Highlands is an excellent opportunity to delight in every way. "
In addition, this year the event incorporates a photo contest (cover + atmosphere + landscape) of Instagram.
Those who wish to participate should upload the photos to their public Instagram profile using the hashtag: # 5rutaespartaria and #hostelor;
follow and label the account @espartarialorca, and also send it to espartaria@gmail.com.
"Another novelty that we present this year is that the first 150 routes that finish the route of the cover, will receive as a gift some pots of red thyme, aromatic species of our Highlands, with the illusion that it obtains the deserved Protected Designation of Origin" , reported Francisco Morales.
Sunday, December 1, will be the closing ceremony of the V Ruta de la tapa at 6:00 p.m. in the square of the hamlet of La Paca, where the awards ceremony will take place.
Specifically, the first, second and third best cover chosen by the routers will be awarded;
to the first 150 routers that finish the route;
to the first three routers (raffle) that finish the route;
to the three most original photographs it contains (cover + atmosphere + landscape).
The Councilor for Commerce, Francisco Morales, and the representatives of the Spartary Federation, have announced another of the novelties of this edition, which is the provision of a bus to facilitate all Lorca who wish to participate in this activity.
The bus, which must be booked before each Friday, will depart at 11:00 from the Visitor Center located in the former convent of La Merced;
and will have as destinations on the route La Parroquia, Doña Inés, Coy, Avilés and La Paca, returning to Lorca at 5:30 p.m.
