The party opens a new era to enhance its center, moderate and liberal project that seeks democratic regeneration, the fight against corruption and equality of all Spaniards
The Councilor spokesman for Citizens in the municipality of Lorca, Francisco Morales, has made an assessment this morning on the result of Citizens in the general elections of November 10.
In the first place, Morales wanted to thank the work of proxies and affiliates during the election day, as well as the more than 1,600,000 votes received nationwide, which, however, have resulted in only 10 deputies.
Morales said that "these results are not positive but show that the Cs project is more necessary than ever, a center, moderate, liberal and constitutionalist project."
He also wanted to have a few words for the leader of the party, Albert Rivera, who announced this morning his resignation as president of Citizens and his withdrawal from politics, which he described as “a great loss for Citizens and for Spanish politics, to the instead of being a gesture, he honors him ”.
A new stage for the orange formation is opened that, in the words of Morales, “should lead to a change of leadership and strategy, but with the same values with which Citizens were founded, that is, honesty, political transparency, equality, democratic regeneration, the fight against corruption and the defense of the unity of Spain ”.
Next, Francisco Morales has concluded by conveying the message that they will continue “working very hard, with the same objectives, which are none other than improving the lives of the Spaniards, the inhabitants of the Region of Murcia and, of course, of all Lorca. "
