This day, organized by the Employment Guidance and Information Center (COIE) under the University of Murcia, has the collaboration of the Department of Youth and Universities of Lorca and is aimed at students of ESO, Baccalaureate, FP and their parents .
The Councilor for Youth of the City of Lorca, José Ángel Ponce, has announced that, for this next Tuesday, November 19, the Employment Orientation and Information Center (COIE) under the University of Murcia has organized a Self-Knowledge Workshop in collaboration with the Department of Youth and Universities of the City of Lorca, and through the University Campus of Lorca.
The mayor of Youth has indicated that "in this workshop the students of ESO, Baccalaureate, FP and the parents of these students, may know the keys needed to make decisions as important as choosing a university degree or a profession."
Ponce recalled that "it is not always easy for students to know what they do well, what they like and what to expect from the future. For this reason, this workshop is organized to professionally guide pre-university youth, so that it can result in benefits desirable for the University and society as a whole, such as: decrease in educational abandonment, improvement in academic performance, increase in employment, improvement in health and well-being, etc. "
This workshop will take place next Tuesday, November 19, starting at 5 pm in the Assembly Hall of the Faculty of Social and Health Sciences of the University Campus of Lorca.
The mayor of Youth has encouraged students and parents to participate in this event that, "for the first time it has been achieved to be held outside the capital of Murcia and to be in our city."
Registration is free and can be done through um.es/ccsociosanitarios until tomorrow Thursday, November 14.
