The Brotherhood of Labradors, Paso Azul, through its young people, organizes its II Castañada Solidaria tomorrow.
The activity, which aims to reissue last year's success, aims to raise funds for Down Lorca.
To collaborate with this initiative, Lorca who wish to do so will be able to go from 16:30 to the mall known as Las Columnas Mall, where volunteers from the Blue Passage will be selling cones of freshly roasted chestnuts, collecting the proceeds to the aforementioned association.
It should be noted that for the occasion, the Regional Union of Merchants of Lorca will collaborate with the young people of Paso Azul, contributing some of the resources and materials necessary to carry out the chestnut.
Down Lorca (Association for People with Down Syndrome and Intellectual Disability of the Region of Lorca), was established in February 2013 at the initiative of a group of parents of people with Down Syndrome, its main objective being to achieve maximum independence, autonomy and full inclusion of people with Down syndrome and Intellectual Disability, facilitating a life as normal as possible and achieving their family, school, social and work integration, to achieve happiness and full acceptance of the person with Down syndrome and Intellectual Disability
From the Blue Step all butlers, brothers, associates, blues and Lorca are encouraged in general to participate in this activity with which they intend to collaborate with a non-profit association like Down Lorca, celebrate the next festival of San Clemente with typical roasted chestnuts and in turn energize the center of Lorca even more, because during the course of the same the parade of Moors, Christians and Jews will be held.
