For this reason, from the IU group we again raise the need to conserve, protect, and value our most unique tree heritage, hoping that, even if it is reiterated, this time it is the definitive one and we achieve that Lorca, for a Once again, be news for your respectful treatment of trees and natural heritage.

Therefore, the Plenary will be asked again to adopt the following agreements in order to protect and conserve our natural heritage:

The City of Lorca will carry out urgently and as a priority the measures for the adequate protection and conservation of the monumental trees of Lorca contained in the Catalog.

The City of Lorca will publish a didactic guide of the trees that make up the Catalog.

With these same educational, educational and protection objectives, a small explanatory poster of the botanical specimen in question will be placed next to the cataloged trees, detailing its name, perimeter, age, and other characteristics that are considered appropriate, making express mention of its cataloging and protection.

In order to enrich the catalog of monumental trees of the PGMO of Lorca, appropriate steps will be made with the existing environmental defense groups in the municipality of Lorca, opening it to citizen participation and suggestions that may be raised from these and other groups .

Through its inclusion in the Catalog, or through the formula that the technical services deem most timely, a protection regime for the Urban Gardens of Lorca will be established in response to its history, wealth, botanical variety or uniqueness of its specimens, among they that Catalog will include the gardens of the old Mallorca XIII Regiment and IES Ibáñez Martín.
