Tomorrow will be held on the track of Serrata the V Tournament of Lance Heavy city of Lorca '.
In this event, in the initiation and absolute category, about 30 pitchers from different points of the Spanish geography will participate, such as Catalonia, Valencian Community, the Canary Islands, Andalusia, Madrid and Murcia.
There will also be an international presence with a participant from Italy.
In this sport will meet in the City of the Sun, several champions of Spain, and representatives of the National Team in the World Cups, as well as two bronze medalists in World Championships, and the current World Champion of Inland Casting, (another modality of launch).
At 10 o'clock this test will begin at the Serrata track, which consists in launching as far as possible, using strength, technique and precision.
To do this, pitchers have a rod, reel and lead, which they throw on a marked track.
Each participant will be able to choose the weight of the lead they decide, having 6 to 8 rolls to throw as far as possible.
There will be an Initiation category for those who wish to take their first steps in the world of heavy cast.
From the Sports Fishing Association Ciudad de Lorca, organizer of this activity, they point out the particularity of the Tournament, and announce that "it will be one of the best in Spanish territory if time accompanies".
The Fishing Federation of the Region of Murcia and the Department of Sports of the City of Lorca collaborate in this event.
