The Councilors for Culture and Education of the City of Lorca, María Ángeles Mazuecos and Antonia Pérez, presented this morning together with the president of the Belenista Association of Lorca, Manuel Sevilla, the program organized by this entity for the Christmas holidays.

Mazuecos has detailed that "on Sunday, December 8, at 12 noon, it will be inaugurated at Belén Municipal located in the Guevara Palace and school visits to both this nativity scene and the Museum of the Bethlehem of Lorca, will take place between the December 9 and 20. In addition, the deadline for participating in the XXII Christmas Nativity Contest and the XIV Christmas Card Contest for Primary School students is opened. "

For its part, the mayor of Education has indicated that "on December 15 will be the traditional blessing of the figures of the Child Jesus that are placed in the nativity scenes in the Church of Our Lady of Carmen and on December 18 and 19, the Qualifying jury of the School Nativity Contest will make the pertinent visits to subsequently carry out the deliberation and specify the winners of this edition ".
