The Councilor for Equality in the City of Lorca for the Popular Party, María de las Huertas García, has denounced this morning that Citizens and PSOE still do nothing to open the municipal nursery located in the industrial estate of La Hoya, which remains closed since last June.
It is a center that is suffering from discriminatory treatment and the marginalization of Citizens and socialists, who have had the opportunity to reopen, although late already reluctantly, the municipal nursery of another district, specifically La Paca, but still arms crossed and looking the other way after loading the existing service in La Hoya, leaving in the street the families that used these facilities, and that because of them they are having to find life on their own.
How strange are these parties to contribute to the reconciliation of the social and working life of families.
The fact that this service is still closed and lime is a direct consequence of the total lack of attention that Citizens and PSOE are showing with the problem in La Hoya.
The paralysis that exists in the municipal management because of citizens and PSOE is very evident, and not only harms the projects that we leave prepared, drafted and with the secured financing, but also reaches the provision of services, as in this case.
Mari Huertas García has said that the Popular Party has demanded in the last plenary session that the City Council proceed to the immediate opening of the Point of Attention to Children of La Hoya, urgently initiating the procedures and procedures necessary for it, as well as recently has done with the Child Care Point of La Paca.
At our request, we find vague and confusing excuses, so it is clear that they have no intention of reopening this center.
From the PP we demand that the City Council stop discriminating against families that used this service, and promote actions related to the social promotion of the Childhood Care Point of La Hoya as a center for reconciling work, personal and family life for the village and its surroundings, and that allocate the necessary item, within the municipal budgets 2020, to promote a regulated procedure that guarantees economic sustainability and the provision of these services throughout the school year in the public conciliation centers of the municipality .
The reality is that in Lorca while the Popular Party managed the City Council, we managed to launch the Infant School of the Cat and the nurseries of La Paca, La Hoya and Cazalla, these under the denomination of Points of Attention to Children (PAI).
Regarding the Point of Attention to Children of La Hoya we know that no management has been carried out to continue providing the service that in recent years has been developed in its facilities, and that it has been the company itself that has He worked in the center in the last year which has offered an alternative for those families who had been left homeless by the inaction in this regard of Citizens and PSOE.
Even so, we have proof that there are several families that today have no possibility of moving outside the urban center of the village and need the reopening of this municipal nursery.
