Pedro Mondéjar: "Education and training are the best legacy a human being can have, the best instrument to transform their environment
However, in today's society, teachers do not receive the recognition they really deserve. "
The Councilor for Education in the City of Lorca for the Popular Party, Pedro Mondéjar, has transferred to all Lorca teachers the highest consideration and thanks of this political training to those who perform what is probably the most important task in educational training and personnel of the new generations of Lorca, on the occasion of the commemoration of the Teacher's Day, the feast of St. Joseph of Calasanz (Aragonese priest who opened the first Pious School in Rome on November 27, 1597, being the precursor of modern pedagogy).
Mondéjar said that teachers make a particularly constructive and positive contribution.
This is why we are convinced of the need to recognize the professionals of happiness and knowledge, those who constantly seek change, a transformation, not only of our society but each of the individuals that make it up.
Being a teacher is a profession of particular importance, since they directly influence the construction and personal development of people.
Although the current local government does not consider it necessary, from the PP we continue to demand the celebration of a "Teachers Gala" to give visibility to the work of our teachers and professors.
We all know the importance of education in our lives and the impact it has on our society, so we must give greater visibility to the indispensable work that education professionals have had and have in each of our identities, and how It has marked the direction of our destinations.
Education and training are the best legacy a human being can have, the best instrument to transform their environment.
However, in today's society, teachers do not receive the recognition they really deserve.
In some cases, they are even unauthorized by different social agents, not recognizing the value they have as the basis of all current professions.
Pedro Mondéjar has pointed out that teachers, with their daily work, their innovation and their determination, manage to arouse the illusion of knowledge, giving tools to acquire study habits, encourage a love for reading, propose dynamics for teamwork, accompany and give curricular and non-curricular resources, modeling each of the personal talents of our sons and daughters.
For all these reasons, we believe it is essential to value the teacher, showing what he does, and recognizing his work.
We propose that the contribution and dedication of our Lorca teachers and teachers to our lives be made visible every year through a "Teachers Gala".
