During the next weekend the most important fair of the cofrade sector is celebrated in Granada, in which brotherhoods, artisans, goldsmiths and musical groups from all over the country meet.
Lorca participates for the fourth consecutive year in this fair thanks to the contribution of the White Step, which will present an important sample of embroideries and promote the candidacy of the art of Lorca embroidery to Intangible Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.
This year, the stand of the White Pass will show the mantle of Cambises, belonging to the cavalry of the Vision of San Juan;
the Tarsis mantle of King Ahasuerus' cavalry;
the Pygmalion mantle of the Roman cavalry;
a capeta of the cavalry of the Queen of Saba;
a Nazarene tunic of the Cabildo;
the robes of standard stewards of the San Juan banners and of the Prayer in the Garden;
and the pennant of the Virgin de la Amargura Musical Group.
This is the VII edition of this cofrade fair, which will be held on November 30 and December 1 and will have 6,000 square meters dedicated to exhibitions, stands, and musical performances.
