The remodeling works of several dependencies of the Felipe VI Sports Complex have already begun, to carry out the creation of the playroom, dietetics and nutrition, and physiotherapy services.
The Councilor for Sports, Irene Jódar, as well as technicians of the Department, have visited the facilities to check the progress of the works, whose completion is scheduled for later this year.
The Councilor for Sports, Irene Jódar, has said that this "project of adaptation of the first floor of the CD. Felipe VI, with the incorporation of these services of playroom, physiotherapy, and dietetics and nutrition, will allow great benefits for all users, and Lorca in general, that they wish. Within these works a restructuring of the existing spaces is being carried out, as well as the improvement of the judo room with the renewal of air, and air conditioning, the latter is also being done in the other rooms.
The lighting of all these units is also being adapted, as well as the reorganization of the canteen warehouse.
Jódar Pérez has pointed out that "with these new services, which will all be located on the first floor, it is intended to continue improving the service offered to the more than 3,000 users we have in the Felipe VI Sports Complex, in addition to encouraging all citizens to make use of these state-of-the-art facilities. These new services are intended to be underway by 2020 "
It should be remembered that the new offer will be open to the general public, whether or not they are subscribers of the Felipe VI Sports Complex, sports facilities that offer more than 110 activities run by professionals per week and more than 100 hours per week of aquatic programs, adapted to the conditions and needs of each user.
