The Councilor of Limusa in the City of Lorca for the Popular Party, Juan Miguel Bayonas, has proposed to the current local government that the Lorca have the opportunity to acquire bonds and tickets for the municipal urban transport service in new locations outside of those usually established To this end, with the aim of promoting the use of the urban bus as a means of sustainable transport among Lorca.

This is an initiative raised constructively by the Popular Party, which we make available to the current local government so that it can be carried out for the benefit of all Lorca.

Juan Miguel Bayonas has explained that the sale of this type of tickets and tickets in new locations outside the usual would contribute to bringing urban transport to Lorca, a task in which we all have to collaborate, since it is about contributing to reduce pollutant emissions to the environment through the use of collective means of transport.

That task should involve us all, regardless of political ideologies, so from the PP we put this project on the table, which we believe would not involve any additional expenses to the City Council, but rather the opposite, since it is more than likely that citizens who were unaware of the possibilities offered by this service start using it if they are offered an attractive proposal.

The popular Lorca have indicated that this initiative should start in kiosks and tobacconists, following the model that is established in many Spanish cities, offering a positive performance.

In this way a double objective would be fulfilled, since precisely these establishments are suffering in particular the effects of the economic crisis, and they would be given a new resource for the development of their activity.

Juan Miguel Bayonas said that in parallel to the sale of these bonds and tickets, the City Council would have to take the opportunity to provide information on established lines, authorized stops and passing times, so that residents know what possibilities they have To benefit from this service.

At present, the amount of each trip is 1.3 (1.5 in the case of the line that communicates with the Industrial Estate), and there are bonds with prices ranging between 10 and 40, depending on the number of trips .
