Through municipalism, we have the opportunity to defend Spain "
The Spokesman of the Municipal Municipal Group in the City of Lorca, Fulgencio Gil, has informed that the PP will propose that it be debated in the next session of the Plenary of the City Council, scheduled for Friday, that the Municipal Consistory urges Pedro Sánchez, President of the Government in office, not to negotiate an investiture agreement with the Catalan and Basque independents that endangers the unity of our nation and equality between Spaniards.
From the Plenary Session of the City Council, through municipalism, we have the opportunity to defend Spain.
In this same sense, from the Popular Party, it will be proposed that the City Council, following the opinion of the vast majority of Lorca, complains to the current central government that does not give in to the independence claim to create a "negotiating table" between the governments of Catalonia and Spain "as if they were two different nations.
What has to be Spain and its Autonomous Communities we have to decide among the Spanish as a whole.
This premise is a clamor among the Lorca, regardless of their political ideology, so from the PP we claim that Pedro Sánchez does not assume the independence claim to replace the problem of coexistence in Catalonia with an alleged "political conflict."
Fulgencio Gil explained that the Acting President of the Government of Spain has initiated a negotiation process that has led him to sit down with independence and secessionist forces, whose objective is the liquidation of the Spanish Nation and its constitutionally consecrated unit, forgetting that Our territorial system has endowed the different Autonomous Communities that comprise it with a level of autonomy and decentralization that is among the most advanced in the world.
This decision, without having consulted all the parties - as it promised to do last October 13 in its document "Plan to move forward and overcome the blockade", has caused Spanish society to show its concern about possible assignments that the Acting President of the Government of Spain is willing to carry out in order to be reelected.
During the last weeks we have witnessed a progressive acceptance of the independence language, moving from the conflict of coexistence in Catalonia, to sustaining that there is a supposed "political conflict".
An acceptance that legitimizes "de facto" the claims of those who seek to destroy our nation.
Everything seems to indicate that the demands of the independentists seek the establishment of a bilateral relationship between Catalonia and Spain as if they were independent states, and the setting up of a dialogue table.
Pretensions and bodies that are outside those established by the Spanish Constitution and the Statute of Autonomy of Catalonia for relations between Autonomous Communities and the Government of Spain.
The Socialist Party, just three years ago, dismissed its then Secretary General, Pedro Sánchez, for trying to reach an agreement with the secessionist-independentists who did not go as far as he intends to do today.
The unity of Spain, solidarity between regions and Autonomous Communities, and freedom (freedom for example to choose the language in which they express themselves or in which their children study) and equality of Spaniards are the basic pillars of Spanish democracy and their defense must be above political parties and ideologies.
The popular also propose to urge the President of the Government of Spain in functions not to establish any dialogue outside the institutions included in the Constitution, and request the President of the Government in functions, to make public the demands of the independentists so that all the people Spanish can know with transparency the concessions that will be made to the independentistas.
