Today the collaboration agreement has been signed in activities of general interest between the Initiatives Foundation El Gigante and Cantera Lorca Deportiva football in the city of Lorca (Region of Murcia).

This agreement has been signed by Francisco Perán Albarracín, president of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation and Alberto Clemente Cayuela, president of the Cantera Fútbol Lorca Deportiva club.

The main purpose of the Agreement is to establish channels for the realization in common of activities of prospecting, study, consultation and design of innovative solutions, from the social and sports point of view, in the area of ​​the high districts of the city of Lorca: Neighborhood from Santa María, Barrio de San Pedro and Barrio de San Juan.

For the realization of the object of this Agreement the main actions will be the following:

Creation of a base football offer in the area of ​​the upper districts of Lorca to offer a healthy alternative to children in the most needy neighborhoods of Lorca.

Any other activity that, within the scope of this Agreement, results in mutual benefit, based on the principles that underlie the future social development of the upper districts of Lorca.

This agreement has a duration of two years, and is included in the Innovation Project to contribute to the enhancement of the high districts of Lorca: Conversations in the upper districts of Lorca (Actions with interest groups), which is putting in The Gigantes Initiatives Foundation has been running for 1 year.
