This fact is included in the activities that are being carried out on the occasion of the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the canonical coronation of our patron and the jubilee time granted by the Holy See.
The Councilor for Culture of the City of Lorca, María Ángeles Mazuecos, has presented, this morning, with the president of the Brotherhood of the Virgen de las Huertas, Isabel Giménez, and the director of 'Sentir Cofrade, Francisco Nortes, the Christmas greeting this year of the brotherhoods and religious brotherhoods of the Region of Murcia.

Mazuecos explained that "this fact is due to the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the canonical coronation of the Virgen de las Huertas and the jubilee time granted by the Holy See at the request of the Bishop of the Diocese, José Manuel Lorca Planes."
The mayor of Culture has indicated that for the City Council "it is an honor that part of the rich cultural heritage with which we have travel to all points of our Region, entering all homes on such endearing dates as Christmas is".
For her part, the president of the Brotherhood of the Virgen de las Huertas, Isabel Giménez, has been very happy "for the fact that the Holy Child is the image chosen to congratulate Christmas this 2019 to all our brother brothers" and has grateful to 'Feel Cofrade' who wanted to add to this tribute by selecting this image for his Christmas greeting. "
The director of 'Feel Cofrade', which this year celebrates its tenth anniversary, has affirmed that "it is a pleasure to have been able to reflect in this Christmas greeting to this image with a miraculous reputation in one of the most endearing celebrations of the Catholic religion and of the Spanish tradition and therefore of the Region of Murcia ".
It should be noted that last year the image chosen to congratulate Christmas 2018 was that of the child of the Virgen de la Fuensanta, patron saint of Murcia.
