In this meeting, which has taken place at the headquarters of the Ministry in Murcia, the councilors of Urban Planning, Culture and Development, José Luis Ruiz Guillén, María Ángeles Mazuecos and Isabel Casalduero also participated.

The mayor of Lorca, Diego José Mateos, has held a working meeting this morning in Murcia with the Minister of Public Works of the CARM, José Ramón Díez de Revenga.

The mayor has detailed that "one of the main issues that we have discussed in this meeting, in which the councilors of Urbanism, Culture and Development, José Luis Ruiz Guillén, María Ángeles Mazuecos and Isabel Casalduero, have also participated the justification of the aid for the earthquakes of May 2011 ".

Diego José Mateos has indicated that "it has been agreed to find a definitive solution, among the three administrations: the local, regional and national, so that those affected by the earthquakes can justify the money they received for the damage to their homes."

Mateos has referred to the agreement between the City Council and the CARM for the processing of the Justification Account explaining that "from the Autonomous Community they do not see their renewal necessary, since from the Consistory all services are being provided, as well as the necessary advice, and the victims who have already submitted all the documentation within the term of the agreement will be treated the same, as those who have done it once expired, including those who do so from here until the validity of said agreement, next January 25 ".

The First Edil recalled that "the agreement already expired has been a technical instrument that served to channel the collaboration between the CARM and the City of Lorca, which has continued to be provided so far by municipal workers and will continue to be provided, with the same administrative consequences as with the current agreement ".

The mayor of Lorca has said about the extension of the deadline for the justification of the aid that "we hope it is not necessary since from the outset we are putting all the necessary means so that the neighbors can present all the documentation and do it in time and form "and has said that" that time will have to be extended for the communities of owners, a casuistry, which was not taken into account at first ".
