The beneficiaries are the Lorca and Comarca Mental Health Association (Asofem), the group of Parents with Children with Intellectual Disability of the Lorca Region (Apandis), the Association of People with Down Syndrome and Intellectual Disability (Down Lorca) and the Association of and for Physical Disabled of Lorca and Comarca del Guadalentín.

The deputy spokesman of the Government team of the City of Lorca and secretary of the Local Government Board, Isidro Abellán, has reported on the issues that have been approved in the session held this morning.

And it has specified that two of these homes will be destined for the Lorca and Comarca Mental Health Association (Asofem), one of them adapted; two for the Association of Parents with Children with Intellectual Disability of the Region of Lorca (Apandis), one of them adapted ; one for the Association of People with Down Syndrome and Intellectual Disability (Down Lorca) and another for the Association of and for Physical Disabilities of Lorca and Comarca del Guadalentín, (Adisfilor), also qualified as adapted ".

Abellán has stressed that "one of the commitments made by this government team since we arrived at the City Council is fulfilled. But we have to remember that the process has not been easy since several procedures have been carried out."

It is a transfer, which Abellán himself has insisted "will be effective at the time the contract is signed in the coming weeks."

The deputy spokesman of the Government team recalled that "the use of these homes must be intended for the social purpose of which these associations are subject, as well as keeping the property ceded in a good state of conservation in hygiene."

As for the approval of subsidies, the mayor has stated that several items have been approved for different groups of sports, social and cultural, among others, for an amount that amounts to more than 97,000 euros, among which the subsidy that will receive the Multiple Sclerosis Association of Area III (EEA III) and will be used to improve the services provided to its users and the Lorca Ocioculture Association that will be used in a revitalization program of women's associations in the municipality. "

In the section on agreements, the secretary of the Government Board has highlighted the initiation with the Cajamurcia Foundation, through the Department of Social Services, worth 10,000 euros, with the aim of conducting courses and workshops in the centers of major of the municipality of Lorca.

As well as the one signed with the Virgen del Alcázar Medical Center, which amounts to 2,000 euros, which will be allocated to a program of cognitive stimulation of memory, whose purpose is to contribute to the well-being of the elderly and pensioners in the area of health and quality of life of them ".
