The local misgovernment of Citizens and PSOE responds to those affected by the robberies that will not increase the police presence, and proposes as a "solution" to create a whatsapp group and "point the license plates of unknown vehicles."
The Councilor for Citizen Security in the City of Lorca by the Popular Party, María Belén Pérez, has publicly denounced this morning that Lorca residents living in districts are already suffering the direct consequences of an erratic, heartless and negligent political leadership on their part of the current mayor.
We already said last October that his decision to dismantle the presence of the Local Police in our districts was going to have consequences, and here we have them: to the robberies that we already denounced last December has added a new wave of looting strongly in the things perpetrated in the early hours of December 27 to 28 in up to 4 livestock facilities in the district of Avilés.
The consequences of this security cut are the exclusive and direct responsibility of the current mayor and his partner of Citizens.
But the worst part is that since the Popular Party we had warned them that this was going to happen, and not only did they ignore us, it was that we had to endure their bad words and ways.
However, we give them our outstretched hand again, to see if they realize that what really matters is Lorca, they lose pride and are able to learn from experience.
If they don't rectify this, it will get worse.
Belén Pérez has said that Citizens and PSOE have left the security of the districts fully discovered, and their homeless neighbors.
We have talked with those affected, and they are outraged, they feel abandoned and deceived, and they do not understand why a security model has been changed that offered good results for another that has abandoned them to their fate.
It is an aberration that at night not a single Local Police officer patrolling our districts.

at the time, it is already well known to the friends of others, and they are taking advantage of the chaos that Citizens and PSOE are causing in terms of security.
The most recent example in this regard has been the wave of robberies with force in the things that were perpetrated in the early hours of December 27 to 28 in at least 4 farms located in the district of Aviles, events in which thieves broke doors, they devalued the ships, forced locks and took valuable elements of material from the facilities, including high-value generator sets.
These robberies have raised the restlessness and alarm among the neighbors, who demanded a meeting with the mayor of security, in which the solution that was given them was a real nonsense: create a WhatsApp group, because it will not increase the police presence, and in the meantime the neighbors are responsible for targeting the license plates of cars they do not know.
This is the "great" response that the mayor gives to those affected, resigning to continue throughout the year without a single Local Police agent in districts, which will remain fully discovered and abandoned, for the political stubbornness in destroying a model that guaranteed The police presence.
Given the extraordinary situation that is being generated in our municipal district, we demand that local ungovernment and the current mayor rectify their decision to destroy a model that worked and recover the management scheme of the workforce that was responding to the needs of citizens
What we Lorca cannot consent to is that between them they leave the citizens without any security service from which to go to situations like those that are being registered.
From the PP we emphasize that the dismantling decreed by Citizens and PSOE against the presence of the Local Police in districts leaves the abandoned neighbors to their fate and without real capacity to respond to any incident.
Political criteria have been imposed on those of citizen security.
The result, as we noted at the time, is being disastrous, and confirms that what the current mayor has done is a dismantling, not a restructuring.
We are talking about nonsense imposed against the criteria of the police themselves, and that constitutes a new cut in the services that the City Council has to provide in the districts.
In fact it has marginalized, abandoned and isolated the neighbors of districts.
We share the concern of our neighbors.
We had a security model that worked and it has been loaded until we get a security that shines by its absence.
The experiments, that make them Citizens and PSOE in their homes and with soda, but that do not screw up with such a delicate issue as citizen security.
