For the second consecutive year, the Red de Juderías de España will be present with its own stand at the International Tourism Fair of Madrid in which it will present the cultural, historical and gastronomic heritage of Jewish heritage present in the 22 cities of the Network.
Booth 9A04B of Hall 9 will host a complete agenda of activities and will become a meeting point for travelers eager to know a travel proposal full of stimuli and attractions for all audiences.
On Wednesday, January 22 at 5:00 p.m. an institutional presentation ceremony will be held, with the presence of HE.
Mayor of Jaén and President of the Red de Juderías, D. Julio Millán, and of Mayors and institutional representatives of the cities of the Network.
From January 22 to 26, the 40th edition of FITUR, the International Tourism Fair, is celebrated at IFEMA in Madrid.
The most important event of Spanish tourism has among its protagonists the Network of Jewish Quarters of Spain, an association consisting of 22 cities throughout the country -Avila, Barcelona, ​​Béjar, Cáceres, Calahorra, Córdoba, Estella-Lizarra, Hervás, Jaén, León , Lorca, Lucena, Monforte de Lemos, Oviedo, Plasencia, Ribadavia, Sagunto, Segovia, Tarazona, Toledo, Tudela and Tui-, who work together and in various fields in the preservation and promotion of the architectural, cultural, historical and environmental legacy of Jewish origin
For the second year in a row, the Juderías Network will be present at the Fair with its own stand - stand 9A04B in Hall 9 - in which to meet the growing growing interest of the general public, the professional tourism sector and the media communication both in its cultural and historical proposal and in the tourist offer.
The stand that will be the scene of a varied program of public events, professional meetings and institutional events, aimed at the professional public and media and the general public, among which work meetings, official events and tasting of kosher gastronomic products stand out.
Thus, on Wednesday 22 at 17:00 an institutional presentation ceremony will take place, aimed at the media and tourism professionals, which will be chaired by HE.
Mayor of Jaén and President of the Juderías Network, Mr. Julio Millán, who will be accompanied by mayors and institutional representatives of the cities of the Network. During the event, the different lines of action of the tourism promotion of the city will be announced Juderías Network for 2020 and the collection of Tourist Guides on the cities of the Network will be presented. At the end of the event, there will be a tasting of kosher wine and Sephardic sweets.
Gastronomy will also be present at the stand of the Red de Juderías.
In addition to knowing the different initiatives of the Network, there will be a tasting of Sephardic sweets on Thursday 23 at 12:00 and Kosher wines at 13:00.
During the weekend, aimed at the general public, visitors to the Network stand can take their name written in Hebrew, performed live by a specialized calligrapher.
