The Councilor for Equality in the City of Lorca by the Popular Party, María de las Huertas García, has denounced that the current mayor continues to be crossed while the families using the municipal nursery located in the La Hoya polygon continue to suffer the effects of unilateral closure of the center to which they took their children.

The facts are that a year ago they demanded the opening of more municipal nurseries in our municipality and as soon as they had to manage, they have turned their backs on the districts and are not even able to keep open the ones we have already started up from the PP.

Close the nurseries of La Paca and La Hoya, and reopen only the first after the "riot" of the affected neighbors themselves.

We find it unpresentable that despite having approved a few months ago a motion to proceed to the reopening of the nursery, the current mayor still does nothing.

We demand that it be possible to reopen the doors of the nursery of La Hoya, since the current local government condemns the families that used this resource to have to “seek life�, forcing them to look for other formulas for their children, children under 3 years old, have adequate care.

We demand that the current mayor and his partner of Citizens proceed to the immediate opening of the Point of Attention to Children of La Hoya, urgently initiating the procedures and procedures necessary for it, as he has recently done with the Point of Attention to the Children of La Paca.

It is a demand that we already made in the month of October, and on which they have not advanced anything.

We are talking about an absolute lack of sensitivity with the user families of the center of La Hoya, from which Lorca was benefiting from this district, as well as from Tercia, and Marchena, in addition to the workers of the La Hoya estate.

From the Popular Party we obtained the mandate of the Plenary of the City Council in October for the immediate reopening of the nursery of La Hoya, through a motion that imposes the current government to promote actions related to the social promotion of this nursery as a center of reconciling work, personal and family life for the community and its surroundings.

Thanks to this motion, the current mayor was also obliged to reserve the necessary item, within the municipal budgets 2020, to promote a regulated procedure that guarantees economic sustainability and the provision of these services throughout the school year in public conciliation centers Township.

This measure accentuates the abandonment to which Citizens and PSOE are subject to the district of La Hoya, whose neighbors are suffering discriminatory treatment with respect to other Lorca deputies, a fact that has greatly disturbed citizens and that this government has to correct , like it more or less.

The paralysis that exists in the municipal management because of Citizens and PSOE is very evident, and not only damages the projects that we leave prepared, drafted and with the secured financing, but also reaches the provision of services, such as case of the municipal nursery of La Hoya.

The reality is that in Lorca while the Popular Party managed the City Council, we managed to launch the Infant School of the Cat and the nurseries of La Paca, La Hoya, Cazalla, these under the denomination of Points of Attention to Children (PAI).

Regarding the Child Care Center of La Hoya we know that no management has been carried out to continue providing the service that has been developed in its facilities in recent years, and that it has been the company itself that has He has exercised his activity in the center in the last year, which has offered an alternative for those families who had been left homeless by the inaction in this regard of Citizens and PSOE.

Even so, we are aware that there are several families that today have no possibility of moving outside the urban center of the village and need the reopening of this municipal nursery.
