Mateos has pointed out that "the new premises are accessible to all people who may have any type of disability. In addition, being in the vicinity of the other premises that the Popular University has, students can continue to be offered a location unbeatable, very close to the historic center and easily accessible both by car and on foot ".
For his part, the director of the Popular University, Miguel Pérez Cortijos, an agency under the Department of Culture, has detailed that this course will have "new spaces that will complete the existing ones in Paso Blanco Street".
This space is divided into two classrooms for the cultural activities of the Popular University: one of them for the Restoration workshop, "an old claim of the students who will see their wishes to have a more spacious and conditioned place fulfilled. to the needs of your activity. "
The other space will be used to expand more courses, since in the current facilities we were more limited to include activities such as yoga, pilates, and taichí, among others.

Currently, the Popular University is teaching 86 different courses: 12 within the Foreign Languages ​​area, nine in the Traditional Crafts and Design area, seven in the Arts and Audiovisuals area, five in Computer Science, one in Traditional and Modern Music, 17 of the Area of ​​Health and Physical Activity, five of the Dance Area, five of Skills for Daily Life, another five of History and Literature, and, finally, 20 courses for the Children's Area, with a total of 1,500 places.
