The current mayor and his partner of Citizens expect to raise this year € 270,000 more for traffic fines and take out another 90,000 increasing tax penalties.
The Popular Party describes as "unreal and harmful for Lorca" the municipal budget project, which includes totally fictitious provisions, such as obtaining € 200,000 in benefits for the concerts of the Fair.
The Spokesman of the Municipal Municipal Group in the City of Lorca and President of the PP, Fulgencio Gil, has announced that after carefully analyzing the budget project, we find the worst budget draft presented in recent decades, poor, flat and without project , which perfectly portrays those who have made it: the PSOE and its appendix of Citizens.
It is the budget of cynicism, since what they promised to shout a few months ago, now is not fulfilled, and that is why their credibility is close to 0. Both criticize our budgets, which managed to reduce the debt by 73 million euros and now they present us "this".
If we are to qualify it from a rigorous criterion, this budget is "lousy, it is a setback and, in addition, it is harmful to Lorca", since it is based on squaring the numbers by reaching into the pocket of Lorca, firing the money obtained for traffic fines.
The consequences of that budget would be pernicious for Lorca, directly harm families and curb the economic movement of the municipality.
They want to return to the old and erratic formulas of the past.
What the current mayor has to do is encourage the saving of families from the City Council, because it is the right way to stimulate the economy, the development of Lorca and the generation of opportunities and jobs.
Fulgencio Gil has claimed that, in view of what they intend to do, we demand that they leave the money in people's pocket, which is the one that best knows how to use it, instead of setting the goal of converting 2020 in the year in which they are most It will fine people.
From the PP they have informed that as this budget is analyzed in detail, the Lorca are finding "surprises", some of them are the following:
Project of municipal budget, third chapter, says, literally "the provision is increased for fines for traffic violations based on the rights settled in the previous years and for income from violations of the ORA ordinance."
What does this mean? That this year they will raise 270,000 euros more than in 2019 due to fines and penalties for Lorca drivers.
2020 will go down in history in Lorca for being the year in which people will be fined the most, thanks to the work of the PSOE.

Cuttings for Neighborhood Boards.
After committing just a few weeks ago in the Plenary Session of the City Council to reserve 1.5 million euros (corresponding to 2% of the budget), they leave a ridiculous and insufficient 20,000 euros.
Cuts for investments in districts: this does not admit joke or humor, because after being supported for 12 critical years we find that they have not foreseen a penny of real euro in the municipal accounts.
By way of "makeup" they say that in the hypothetical and remote case that they sell some property, they will allocate something, but starting, 0 euros.
We have to remember that in the last years of the PP government in this city, more than 8 million euros were allocated to districts only in direct investments of the Consistory, to which the actions of the Regional Government were added.

After ensuring that the budget was "limited", it turns out that there are no limits for the self-government of the local government, and 85,000 euros will be spent.
The cuts hurt multiple issues:
Health: lower attention to the 23 offices in districts: from € 25,000 to € 9,000.
The Alca Project is de facto charged: from € 30,000 to € 16,000.
A young employment program is loaded in which we invested € 50,000

Fulgencio Gil has stressed that after this accumulation of nonsense they leave us with no margin of possibility to ask us for possible support.
By common sense we will vote no on this project of municipal accounts, the other municipal groups that do what they deem appropriate, once they already know in detail what this budget really means.
