The Councilor for Squares and Markets in the City of Lorca for the Popular Party, María de las Huertas García, congratulated the vendors and users of the Plaza de Abastos located in Alameda de Cervantes after having achieved the installation of a new automatic system of access, thanks to the claims transferred to the affection by the PP, the last one being that of last November 26.

In this way we achieved the replacement of the main access doors with an automatic access system equipped with a sensor, which facilitates entry for people with disabilities and / or reduced mobility, as well as for older people with shopping carts, parents and grandparents With baby saddles.

This is one of the main requests transferred by the pleasures themselves to the Popular Municipal Group within the framework of the periodic meetings that have been held with multiple neighborhood and associative groups of our large municipal district.

Mari Huertas García has explained that having held different work meetings with the pleasures that serve in the Plaza de Abastos, this group has placed on the table their requests for the implementation of improvement interventions in their facilities, aimed at offering better conditions both its users and the state of this place.

These focused on the aforementioned conditioning of access to facilities, elimination of architectural barriers to facilitate the passage to people with disabilities and / or older people who use shopping carts, as well as those who access the enclosure with saddles, meeting with the obstacle of the door.

The Councilor of the Popular Party has indicated that we have also managed to proceed with the elimination of a small architectural barrier existing in the public toilet of gentlemen that avoids new mishaps.

From the PP we encourage all Lorca to enjoy the service and products they can find in our Plaza de Abastos, with the best fruits, vegetables, vegetables, fish, pickles and meat products, among other products.

The Lorca people enjoy the best garden in Europe, with food of the highest quality and guarantee, and we have to be precisely the first to set an example buying in our Plaza.

We are talking about a service carried out by autonomous and Lorca entrepreneurs, it is now when we have to show that we are committed to Lorca.

30 square meters of false ceiling were also removed at the entrance to homogenize it with the rest, the steps were repaired and the exterior walls and railings were painted.
