The councilor of the Popular Party in the City of Lorca, María Belén Pérez, has asked the PSOE this morning to rectify the accusations made by her current Councilor for Agriculture at the Municipal Consistory, Antonio Navarro against the mayor of the Popular Group, Ángel Meca, a who blamed yesterday's plenary for the accidents that could be recorded on the roads damaged by the September DANA that the current local government remains unresolved despite repeated claims from the neighbors themselves and the Popular Party.
From the PP insist that Antonio Navarro has to rectify, and the current mayor has to stop these bad ways.
Rectifying is wise and demonstrates height of view and responsibility, so we continue to urge you to do so.
María Belén Pérez has indicated that practically since the beginning of this term we repeatedly witness contempt and disqualification, bad forms and bad manners of the government team.
We have publicly denounced it to the media almost every week, without having been able to stop this drift.
Yesterday, again, even at the Plenary Session of the City Council, we had to endure the displays of arrogance, in this case of Mr. Antonio Navarro, who was very nervous and exalted throughout the plenary session.
In fact, we were tolerant of the incomprehensible intervention that he also had in the plenary, when he put at risk the approval of the resolutions of a motion whose agreements we had agreed between PP and PSOE in favor of Morata's neighbors.
In that case we decided to "turn the page", since we are clear that the interest of Lorca has to prevail, but when he repeated his attacks and expletives he forced us to make the decision to leave the Plenary.
Yesterday's episode is the result of a long list of scorn that we will not continue to tolerate, it was the straw that broke the glass.
For institutional respect, we have "fitted in" multiple displacements and bad manners, trusting that it was going to stop, but since they have not taken measures, we will have to be the ones to tackle the situation before the coexistence between the members of the Municipal Corporation reaches A point of no return.
Belén Pérez has said that it is "sad" to get this, but we cannot tolerate that after we are "shaken" a thousand times, a councilman is accused of opposing the existing decisions due to Mr. Navarro's lack of diligence in his management tasks
Given this, we ask ourselves, what was Mr. Navarro thinking about governing?
To govern is to work and assume the mistakes that can be made, not to try to blame another of its failures.
