The Cuadrilla de Zarzadilla de Totana, one of the most emblematic of the Region of Murcia for its music and for being one of the oldest in the Spanish east, has been renovated to continue “maintaining its roots and traditions†with the collaboration of the Department of Culture of the City Council of Lorca.
Without going any further, next Sunday, March 8, he will once again demonstrate the good health he enjoys in his XI Gang Meeting that hosts the Lorca village, and will do so after a period of renewal with the goal that the new generations "Learn their traditions" and their music and the party "do not miss or forget."
“We are struggling to preserve the ancient legacy of gang members from the town of Zarzadilla.
For this, we will continue playing our traditional music, singing our lyrics, our Easter songs, jotas, parrandas, malagueñas, marches 'parás', zarangotines and making all the people who visit us wherever we are playing dance and enjoy, â€they affirm.
In the eleventh edition of the Gang Meeting, the Taberno Gang (Almería), the Torreagüera (Murcia), the Torrecilla (Lorca) and, of course, the Zarzadilla de Totana (Lorca) will participate.
