The Councilor for Rural Development in the City of Lorca for the Popular Party, Ángel Meca, has demanded for the fourth time the Hydrographic Confederation of Segura (CHS) to have the "courtesy" to make public the project of demarcation of the Rambla de Biznaga .
We are not going to forget this question, no matter how much some try to keep the project hidden in a drawer.
In fact, we have to say that on the afternoon of yesterday we had a working meeting with the residents of Campillo, who transferred their misunderstanding to the attitude that the CHS is having on this particular issue.
Neither it, nor we, nor anyone at this stage, understands that a project of such importance, which comes to solve a pressing problem for all of Lorca, is being hidden more obscurely than if it were a state secret.
Ángel Meca has stressed that we are not willing that the uncertainty they are generating to the neighbors of the area is eternalized, it is good to look the other way and not do things well.
We have been asking for something that is common sense for 9 months and the delay they have with this issue is simply unpresentable.
Ángel Meca has announced that from the Popular Party the Segura Hydrographic Confederation has been demanded to publish immediately the project of demarcation of the Rambla de Biznaga, since there are innumerable requests transferred by the residents of the area.
In fact, the vast majority of neighbors are unaware that such a document exists, and when they hear that it has been written, they do not understand why it has not been given the publicity it deserves.
Given these facts, we claim that, since good work has been done to prepare the demarcation project, with the participation of the CHS technicians, this document is accessible to anyone who wants to consult it.
We ask that it be published on the Internet to facilitate all of Lorca's knowledge, it is logical that, instead of being stored in a drawer, it is accessible to all, and that is what they had to have done long ago.
From the Lorca, the CHS insisted on the imperative need to make public and questionable as soon as possible the draft of the demarcation for the recovery of the Rambla de Biznaga channel, a measure that the neighbors themselves have been demanding.
We continue to insist that the neighbors have to know that this document is already made, and they deserve the opportunity to consult it today.
We are talking about a measure that would help keep those affected informed.
No one understands, particularly those affected, that instead of giving public access to this long-finished text, it has been stored in a drawer.
We demand that the opinion of the neighbors be counted, since nobody knows the land better than them.
The common objective of the administrations has to be to shorten to the maximum the necessary deadlines for the construction of the great canal that will evacuate through the Rambla de Biznaga the waters that until now are accumulated in Campillo and Torrecilla.
To do this, in the first place, the CHS has to establish an area of ​​public hydraulic domain that will be located predictably in the area popularly known as El Saladar.
This intervention will allow the subsequent construction of the aforementioned Canal del Saladar, which will link to the Rambla de Biznaga, evacuating rainwater under the Bao Bridge.
What we have demanded from the PP of Lorca is that everything be done urgently, and that the Autonomous Community also proceed to coordinate the works that will be carried out on said bridge and under the Eagles highway, also proceeding to the restitution of the roads owned by them that are affected by the project.
This is what we have called the Saladar Canal, a central pipeline that spills the rainwater outlet, and that has a radial system to receive contributions from multiple points, including those that usually present more problems in case of heavy rains .
The PP supports the neighborhood demands on Camino Hondo and Almenara highway
From the PP they demand the current mayor to get to work to coordinate the necessary intervention that allows the strengthening of the firm and the renewal of the household water supply connections in Camino Hondo, a project that must be combined, and is considered a priority by of the neighbors.
We demand that you give this matter the attention it requires, and that the appropriate instructions be given to both Aguas de Lorca and the corresponding department.
Along the same lines, the popular Lorca support the request of the citizens of Campillo to provide public lighting to the section of the Almenara road between its connection to the Eagles road and the back of the mall.
