Now the City Council has the possibility of solving this problem, since the facilities of the hotel establishment that adjoined this street have been demolished, within a particular urban development project.

From the PP, following the request that has been exposed to us by the neighbors of the area, who are the ones who suffer most from this situation, we propose that the Consistory be put to work together with the owners of this plot to materialize the solution .

We believe that it would be convenient for an agreement to be reached that will allow the expansion of the street to be carried out as soon as possible.

Juan Miguel Bayonas has explained that what we propose is of pure common sense: it is about enabling some sidewalks in conditions, which allow all the people who pass through Bodegones Street to travel safely on both margins.

What residents want, and we fully support, is to take advantage of the new urban situation to define a better aligned street, safer for pedestrians and drivers, eliminating the current "funnel", determined by the form of "elbow" that Present the way.

Thanks to this development, the street would have two truly passable sidewalks, since currently they barely allow the passage of a person.

We must take into account, in addition, that today only one of the sidewalks can be passed, since the other remains occupied by the works in progress, a circumstance that enhances the insecurity of the street and is generating dangerous situations that This City Council has to solve immediately.

From the PP we emphasize that this intervention would correct the problem that affects the neighbors, and we cannot allow it to continue for longer when we now have the tool that allows the Consistory to intervene in the street.

It is time to act, so we request that you intervene.

What we cannot tolerate is that the terrible situation that the street presents is eternal, since it would be a real nonsense.

It should be noted that this street is a must for all people who pass between the residential, commercial and religious nucleus formed between the Pía Bridge and the Patron Sanctuary of the Virgen de las Huertas, and La Pulgara road.

Los Bodegones street has a length close to 100 meters.
