Up to 400 students from various schools in Lorca will participate this week in meetings with renowned writers organized to promote reading among children.
The Councilor for Education of the City of Lorca, Antonia Pérez, has informed the next visits of writers to the initiative 'Meetings with Author' organized by the Municipal Network of Libraries.
Pérez explained that "this week there are three writers who visit Lorca again to participate in the program of 'Meetings with Author' enjoyed by schoolchildren in our city with the aim of promoting the habit of reading among children ".
The Edil has detailed that "Tomorrow and the past, Tuesday 10 and Wednesday, March 11, the writer Ledicia Costas will chat with 250 schoolchildren from the Ana Caicedo, Casa del Niño and José Robles schools, about her book 'The adventures of Extravaganzza Pérez', in the Children's and Youth Library located on the 3rd floor of the Mayor José María Campoy Cultural Center, during school hours. "Ledicia Costas is a Galician writer, born in Vigo, graduated in Law that combined her studies with literary competitions.
