Gloria Martín has asked to be able to directly appeal to those responsible for Development for worrisome facts such as that files are being closed unfavorably to neighbors who meet the requirements to justify the aid and have submitted all the documentation
The councilor of Izquierda Unida-Verdes, Gloria Martín, has asked the mayor of Lorca, Diego José Mateos (PSOE), to be part of the Monitoring Commission of the collaboration agreement between the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia and the City Council for the regulation of the management of the justification of the aids for the repair of the houses damaged by the earthquakes of 2011.
Martín explained that said commission - which must meet at least once every three months - is made up of a minimum of six members, three representing each of the subscribing parties.
In addition, its members can be assisted "by people they deem appropriate."
The mayor of IU-Verdes has made this request in writing to Mateos after having detected that the replacement remedies presented by neighbors who, under Law 8/2019, "are entitled to take advantage of the account modality simplified justification and have submitted all the documentation ".
Gloria Martín has demanded to know what will happen to these people who meet the requirements to justify the help received and to those who, however, Fomento is closing their files.
In this regard, he explained that the situation is "worrying" because the Law establishes that the simplified justification procedure only applies "to files that are not firm in administrative proceedings", that is, "that are not closed."
In this regard, the councilwoman of IU-Verdes has shown her distrust because the extension of the deadline until next June to submit the municipal technical reports, approved by agreement between the Ministry of Development and Infrastructure and the City of Lorca without the opposition of the mayor, is serving to "make a sieve" and prevent victims to justify aid through this route.
"The Law states that 20% of the reports submitted will be subjected to a random verification procedure" and the commitment is that "the rest of the files would be archived," Martin recalled.
For this reason, it has demanded to know first hand what is happening and to be able to directly appeal to those responsible for Development.
"The little information that is transferred to us is very little concrete and does not serve to solve the doubts that we have," he explained.
Martín has also asked the mayor if the regulatory bases on sampling techniques have been approved that should be applied to the simplified justification account modality, as well as on what date this procedure will be carried out and how about 3,000 will be notified affected in what situation your records remain.
In this regard, he explained that the concern among those affected is "enormous" and that the notifications that are coming from Fomento "far from reassuring them are making the situation of uncertainty worse."
