Given the risk of spread and contagion of COVID-19, following the instructions and recommendations of the Government of Spain and the Government of the Region of Murcia and in order to promote prevention and avoid unnecessary risks for both Lorca, visitors and tourists, as well as For the staff dependent on this department, the following measures are adopted:
· From Saturday, March 14, the three tourist information points of Lorca will be closed to the public:
-Tourism Office (Plaza de España)
-Center for Visitors (Old Convent of La Merced)
-Castillo de Lorca
· All activities, visits and events organized by Turismo de Lorca are suspended, including the Castle of Lorca.
· We will attend to requests and consultations through the official RRSS of Tourism, the e-mails ciudaddelsol@lorca.es and info@lorcatallerdeltiempo.com as well as on the phone numbers + 34 968 44 19 14 and + 34 968 47 90 03 during business hours. Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
These measures will remain in force until March 31, notwithstanding that their validity may be prolonged depending on the circumstances or on the instructions that may come from the competent authorities.
