The Consistory has decided to suspend for a period of 15 days the fiscal ordinance that regulates the ORA and, also, the parking lots next to the Hospital Rafael Méndez and Menchirón will be free.

The Limusa management has announced the temporary suspension of the fiscal ordinance that regulates the ORA and the free urban transport service.

From the company Limusa, in charge of managing the regulation of the ORA parking lot, has reported that "we have decided to temporarily suspend for a period of 15 days the fiscal ordinance that regulates the ORA, so that until this provisional measure is revoked, parking spaces in the green and blue areas are freely available to citizens ".

The representatives of the company have explained that "with this measure it is intended to free the existing parking spaces so that in the obligatory and essential displacements regulated by Royal Decree 463/2020, of March 14, by which the state is declared of alarm for the management of sanitary crisis caused by the COViD-19 the citizen can park as close as possible to the destination. "

For his part, the Mayor of Lorca, Diego José Mateos, has detailed that "in the same sense, gratuity is applied in the public parking of San Vicente, with the dual objective of avoiding indirect contact in monetary transactions when making the payment, and also the private car parks next to the Rafael Méndez Hospital and the Menchirón Hospital, owned by Poncemar "and thanked" the predisposition of the owners of both facilities ".

From Limusa they have also indicated that "urban buses will also be free, maintaining lines 1, to the Rafael Méndez Hospital, 2 to the Parque Almenara Shopping Center and 10 to the Saprelorca Industrial Estate, which could be subject to variations according to the circumstances. In addition, from tomorrow Monday, lines 5 and 6, corresponding to the displacement Casco Urbano-Castillo and the dissuasion of Artés Carrasco to the Hospital, are suppressed, since the external consultations have been postponed, and the schedules of itineraries 3 are modified, 4, 7, 8 and 9, corresponding to the districts ".

Diego José Mateos has asked that "despite this measure, we call for responsible use precisely to fulfill that objective, minimize the exposure of people in their unavoidable journeys."
