The councilor of Oenegés, Mayor and Social Services of the Lorca City Council, María Dolores Chumillas, has detailed that due to the situation we are going through caused by the coronavirus crisis from this municipal management area, several measures have also been adopted.
María Dolores Chumillas has pointed out that the Social Services Center located in Alameda de Cervantes is closed to the public while the workers are doing face-to-face shifts.
The mayor explained that attention is being made by telephone to users who request information, advice, as well as raising awareness about the difficult situation we are experiencing, social care, detention of needs, mobilization of resources, as well as the coordination with other services or systems such as the Murcian Institute for Social Action (IMAS), the Family Service, Emergencies, Health, Mental Health, the Red Cross, Caritas, among others.
Chumillas Martínez recalled that the telephone numbers for contacting this service are: 968 47 00 77, 968 46 04 64, 699 98 27 02, 682 18 11 66 and 699 10 66 79.
As for the 'Francisco Méndez' Civic Center with attention to Social Services, located in the San Cristóbal neighborhood, it is also closed and the workers who carry out their work there have moved to the Department of Social Services in Alameda de Cervantes.
While the Functional Home is currently operating, serving minors, for which professionals take turns.
The councilor for Social Services has also referred to the 'Fina Navarro' Early Attention Center, which is currently closed and whose professionals are working in person, and the Casa de las Ong's has also closed its doors under the circumstances.
