Some cleaning works to fight the coronavirus that in the districts will be carried out in collaboration with the agricultural sector and in the city through the workers of the Municipal Maintenance Service of Parks and Gardens.
The Councilor for Agriculture, Livestock and County districts of the City of Lorca, Antonio Navarro, has reported on the campaign that the City of Lorca will launch to carry out disinfection work in the areas with the greatest influx of the municipality.
The mayor of Agriculture explained that "after the meeting held this Friday with the mayor, Diego José Mateos, and in which technicians from the park and garden maintenance service also participated, it was decided that the workers of this service would dedicate themselves to the disinfection of areas of major influence in coordination of the municipal cleaning company Limusa ".
Antonio Navarro explained that "this restructuring of the work of the Park and Garden Services will begin this coming Monday and will continue for as long as necessary."
On the other hand, the councilor for Agriculture also thanked "the continued collaboration of companies in the agricultural sector and the Coordinator of Organizations of Farmers and Ranchers (COAG) thanks to which we will be able to launch a disinfection program from the City Council also for the busiest areas of our districts and for which agricultural machinery will be used. "
Navarro Pérez announced that "work is already being done on coordinating these works through pediatrics, farmers and companies from the different districts" and "we hope that everything will be up and running in the first days of next week".
Lastly, the City Council is grateful "for the many offers that many agricultural companies, as well as small farmers, are bringing to the Consistory in order to collaborate in whatever is deemed appropriate."
