The Councilor for Finance of the City of Lorca, Isidro Abellán, has reported the celebration, this morning, of an extraordinary Local Government Board in which several issues of special relevance have been discussed related to the situation caused by the coronavirus crisis.
The mayor of the Treasury has specified that "almost 400 invoices have been approved from all professional sectors for a value of 840,000 euros, which represents an injection of liquidity for more than 300 suppliers with whom we work from the City Council."
The councilman of the Treasury has recognized that "after the decree of the state of alarm by the central Government and by which many businesses, establishments and companies that are not engaged in basic products or services have had to close their doors, we were clear From the Consistory we had to implement some urgent measures, as well as speed up certain procedures or processes, in addition to helping many companies that, despite continuing with their activity, have been affected by the decrease in sales or because they now have less personal".
Specifically, Isidro Abellán stressed that the payment of these bills will be made this morning to different providers who have performed a service to this City Council and whose money can help them face this situation in which they have been interrupted with a little more tranquility. or altered its activity ".
Finally, the mayor has insisted that "from the City Council we will continue working to apply all those measures that are necessary."
